circular reasoning doesn't get you anywhere. however, there's nowhere to get to. done properly, circular reasoning is just composable sustainability.

... this might make the hero's journey constitutive? a hero places themself in the world using their own component parts as scaffolding, and the result puts them back at home, scaffolded, recast as hero of their own world. campbell might be a bootstrap, and not itself the main event?
