I believe that we have the capacity to experience this life in such moving ways. A new year invites that sense of refreshment, and a new perspective—allowing us to be open to what’s possible. And while I believe that every day is an invitation to that sense of awareness, saying goodbye to another year is a beautiful way to feel the excitement of this newness. I’m sitting here with so much to say to you, friend. I won’t make this a long one, though. Here are some of my deepest desires for you to know, especially on this new year’s genesis: We are made to thrive. Our bodies are a part of the earth—and girl, does Mother Earth have a way of continually rebalancing herself for health. Storms and droughts and famines and earthquakes and disease flow through her system, and yet, she will always move back towards health, because it’s her natural state. Her divine truth.
You, my friend, are here to LIVE. Fully.
Our brains have the capacity to develop new patterns, new routes of thought, which can give rise to new awakeness in our bodies.
We are wired to be kind to one another. To love one another. To heal one another.
Once you start to taste the sweetness of pure optimism and expansion, you won’t want to go back.
Isaac wrote a little New Year’s Day message on our instagram: Friends! THE NEW YEAR! Here's what I'm taking with me: the idea that there is wanted and unwanted in every. single. thing. In my clothes, in what I'm sitting on, in my food, in whoever I'm talking to, in my partner, what my partner just said, in EVERYTHING. So, I'm looking for the wanted. I've got a little flag in my brain now that goes up when I start to fixate on something that feels shitty, and when that flag goes up I pause for a second and go "oh hang on, where's the *wanted* in this?". It's always there. Tiny idea. Try it on. ;) Look for the wanted, the wanted-by-you-specifically. It's in everything, and it is your path forward. Happy new year, dear friends. Deep breaths, in repose; fast breaths, in dance. I feel the joy running underneath everything, lifting us up, coaxing us toward our own expansion. Thank you for being here, in every sense, in every way. :)
My goal this year is to share what we know, with an open-handed invitation to really sit with how it can positively impact your life. I love humanity’s capacity for greatness, in all the ways, and I love talking about it. It’s my intention to invite you into a space where you can explore all the things that you are capable of experiencing and achieving. I want my words to hold your hands when you’re uncertain. I want my energy to encourage you to remember your power. I want my actions to remind you that it’s all possible. I’m here, grounded in the belief that, like Isaac mentioned above, focusing on the wanted will lead to a fucking brilliantly gorgeous life.
